AUSTIN PSYCH FEST - LEVITATIONS
Off to TEXAS! I am so excited to journey to an unfamiliar place, dive into a vastly unique landscape and encounter new people!
For a festival that started out small in 2008, Austin Psyc Fest is now an internationally acclaimed full weekend event. Showcasing acts from then and now, hauled from all corners of the world.
This year we are more than excited to see 13th Floor elevators for their 50 Year Anniversary along-side some of my favourite acts like Tame Impala, Mac Demarco, DIIV and Thee Oh Sees. More than anything though, i am stoked to experience (for the first time) the likes of world-renowned rockers The Flaming lips, Jesus and Mary Chain, Spiritualized, The Black Angels and many, many more. I cant picture something more charming than being surrounded by the undivided beauty of Carson Creek ranch.
if your up for a wander in between acts the festival is equipped with an impressive selection of vendors aligning themselves with the events environmental and cultural awareness. From vintage clothing to atistian jewellery and a selection of diverse food.
Lucky campers will not only experience the exquisite site, but sublime shaded chill areas with hammocks, extended general store and cafe…Lets not forget the camping stage, overlooking the river with surprise guest performances and events before and after festival hours.

PERUVIAN VISIONS PART 1
So post Coachella Matt Finelli & I (rad photographer hailing from LA who happens to double as a yeti when in the desert, do as the desert do) …. managed to drag ourselves along with fellow desert doers Darcy + Jordan to shoot part one of our new collection PERUVIAN VISIONS . We stayed in a yurt adorned with prayer flags & all had to sleep in 1 bed to stay warm.
Peruvian Visions draws inspiration from the rugged landscapes of Peru & the psychedelic journeys that may await you
Featuring a range of wearable & flattering garments, emphasis on details consist of grungy raw seams, rose gold hardware, textured fabrics and pom pom embellished bell sleeves.
I styled the shoot with vintage accessories and a nonchalant attitude. Surrounded by joshua trees with personality, smooth boulders & tumble weeds I embodied my surroundings as well as the dark impressionable prints.

COACHELLA
Through the desert in the night we arrived with tired eyes, eager to explore a whole new game.
Heat of the day didn’t seem to matter, surrounded by the most awe-inspiring environment. From Palm trees to desert canyons. Ferris wheel to a giant caterpillar, you couldn’t find a more contrary arrangement, yet the colours of the sunsets melted all the ingredients together each afternoon and cooked the most colourful, Coachella cake ever.
Not only was i blown away by the scale of the actual festival, but seeing my all-time favourite acts with such impressive crowds…. Tame Impala, Flying Lotus, What So Not, Chet Faker, Caribou, Tyler the Creator, Alt J, Jaime XX and not to mention a killer set from Gessafelstein.
It was onerous to believe that Jordy, Barron, Adin, D’Arcy and I were all together… In California, at Coachella. Something all of us had only imagined with the highest of hopes. All in all the desert landscapes, live music, good vibes and friends to share it with… especially my long lost, big sister Sahara. If i had to change one thing for next year… i would probably stay in the Vestal Village and delve right on into the camping experience.
